Scott BlevinsBoard President
Currently the President of Mountain Valley Express and has been a part of this great company for 30 years. Scott also serves his community by being actively involved in organizations such as Manteca Morning Rotary and the past president of the California Trucking Association (CTA). He serves on the committees of “Environmental Policy”, “Officers Council”, and the “Steerling Committee”.
Shirley PerreiraBoard Vice President
Currently the President of Operations for Watts Equipment Company in Manteca, California where she has worked for the past 20 years. She has attended the University of the Pacific Business Management Program as well as the University of Notre Dame Entrepreneurial Studies Program. She believes in giving back to her community.
Paul Vander VeenBoard Treasurer
Paul currently works at Croce, Sanguinetti, & Vander Veen in Stockton. Received an accounting degree from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI and a Masters of Taxation degree from Golden Gate University.
Nick ObligacionBoard Member
Currently the Chief of Police for the Manteca Police Department. I have over 23 years of law enforcement experience and started my career as a Deputy Sheriff with the Monterey County Sheriff’s Department. Nick believes community involvement is crucial to the success of any program.
Ikenna MmejeBoard Member
Ikenna (Ike) Mmeje, FACHE, serves as Chief Executive Officer at Doctors Hospital in Manteca. Prior to joining Doctors Manteca in September of 2015, Ike served as Chief Operating Officer at Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center in San Luis Obispo (SLO) and was responsible for the oversight of the hospital’s daily operations at what is the largest private employer in SLO. Before joining Tenet Health at Sierra Vista, Ike spent seven years with Sutter Health – Alta Bates Medical Center in Oakland, most recently as an Administrative Director – Clinical and Research Services.
Steve DeBrum (Mayor, City of Manteca)Board Member
Steve currently serves as the Nothern Area Manager of Dairy Farmers of America. Steve is an active member of the community where he has served as past president in numerous organizations. Steve is currently serving on the following committees: the San Joaquin Council of Governments, the Valley Policy Council, the League of Cities Transportation Committee, and the San Joaquin Habitat committee.
Oscar CabelloBoard Member
Oscar’s career with Wells Fargo Bank began over 21 years ago as a teller. After many positions in the bank, he is the current Vice President District Manager of the Modesto District where he leads a team of over 230 talented and engaged team members in 12 branch offices spread across three counties. Oscar enjoys teaching money management skills to students and adults. He has a passion for helping in the community and has served on many boards and committees. He currently resides in Modesto with his wife and 4 children.
Joe SarinanaBoard Member
Joe has served as the IT Manager and Technology Consultant for various organizations including large corporate companies, government agencies, and privately owned and operated businesses. In 2006 he founded SOHO Networks to serve small and mid-sized businesses in the area. He has over 20 years experience in the IT Industry.
Charla GilesBoard Member
Charla brings more than 30 years of operations and customer experience to her current leadership role with Foodmaxx. Her goal is to make a positive difference in our company, with employees, customers and the communities she serves.
Jack MixeyBoard Member
The distribution center sits on 200+ acres and has 2.2 million square feet under roof, with approximately 2,000 employees. Prior to returning to Safeway in 2008, Jack was the Operations Manager in Aurora, CO for 9 years and in Phoenix, AZ for the previous 16 years.
Chuck CrutchfieldBoard Member
Chuck spent 26 years (1975-2001) with Boys & Girls Clubs of America, he is currently the Director of Community Outreach for Give Every Child A Chance where he has been since 2001. Chuck has served on several non-profit boards and has been the President of six of those organizations, including Second Harvest Food Bank.
Gabriel SandovalBoard Member
Gabe is currently the Senior Director of Transportation with Diamond Foods in Stockton, CA and is responsible for their 500,000 square foot facility. He also manages the transportation divisions which include Kettle Brand potato chips and Pop Secret microwave & ready-to-eat popcorn divisions across the country for 9 separate facilities that span Oregon to New Jersey;
Brett BerglundBoard Member
Currently the President of Sysco Central California after spending 21 years with Sysco throughout the Northern and Southern California.
Along with Sysco food service distribution and spending 15 years in the culinary arts prior this has driven his desired to support those who are in need around the challenges of hunger in our communities.
Rachelle Vande PolBoard Member
Rachelle Vande Pol is an attorney at Gianelli & Associates. She focuses on business transactional work, business entity creation, succession planning and estate planning. She earned her Juris Doctorate from McGeorge School of Law and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of the Pacifc. Prior to becoming an attorney, she worked at Pulte Homes, a national home builder in their finance department.
Jodie EstarziauBoard Member
Employed by Manteca Police Department since 1996. She has held several different positions within the department, including dispatcher, community service officer, police officer, sergeant and lieutenant. Jodie promoted to Chief of Police in February 2017. She is married to Jeremy Estarziau and has two children.
