Second Harvest Food Bank of San Joaquin and Stanislaus Counties is committed to providing healthy food to hungry families and individuals, because no one should ever go hungry. We provide food to more than 100 agencies/pantries within our community.
During the COVID-19 pandemic we have created an extra resource for those in need. SHFB is providing emergency food boxes directly from our Volunteer Center next door at 704 E. Industrial Park Drive, Manteca, CA 95337. These pre-packaged resources are supplemental groceries, they are not full meals. We are currently offering each household 1 emergency food box every 2 weeks. You will need to apply for a box each time you require one. Contents may vary day to day as we provide what is available to us the day the packages are prepared. We are not able to offer special requests at this time. To adhere to county health guidelines there are only 10 available pickups per hour starting at 9am and ending at 11am. We are not able to offer deliveries at this time. However, you can have a friend or family member pickup your box for you. Emergency food boxes are labeled with the participant's name. We are not able to offer pickup times in the evening. If the available time slots do not fit your schedule, then please take a look at some of our local agency resources or check when our next Mobile Fresh Pick Up location will be. |
