Information & Assistance (209) 558-8698 Although Stanislaus County Senior and Community Centers are closed to the public, many are serving as distribution centers of frozen meal packs to replace the closing senior congregate lunch program. Starting Monday, March 23rd, Seniors 60 or older, that want to go to one of the following senior or community centers listed below may register to pick up a 5-pack box of Sun Frozen meals. They need to call the Senior Information Line to reserve. Call the Senior Information Line to learn more (209) 558-8698 Mondays: Riverbank Community Center 3600 Santa Fe Street, Riverbank Grayson United Community Center 8900 Laird Street, Grayson Tuesdays: Oakdale Senior Center East A Street, Oakdale Mancini Hall 718 Tuolumne Road, Modesto Wednesdays: Modesto Senior Center 211 Bodem Street, Modesto Hughson Community Center 2307 4th Street, Hughson Thursdays: Hammon Senior Center – Patterson 1033 W. Las Palmas, Patterson Fridays: Veterans Center 3500 Coffee Road, Modesto United Samaritan Foundation Turlock, (Available upon request) Home Delivered Meals: There is no current charge to the weekly delivery of a frozen 5-pack box of meals to homebound seniors 60 or older. The priority for this on-going weekly delivery of frozen meals is for homebound (cannot drive) live alone seniors, that have limited if any shopping/cooking help. Homebound spouse &/or disabled adult child residing with them may also be eligible. Call the senior information line to check eligibility to apply for long term home delivered meals. Hello can a disabled person under 60 qualify. He is confined to wheelchair due to amputation. He is 80% blind has a care giver during day but this would help if he needs something at night . He is up all night at times.
